Boojum Becomes First JAM Card Friendly Hospitality Partner in Great Britain!

We’re delighted to announce that we’ve just hit another milestone, becoming the first JAM Card friendly restaurant in Great Britain as part of our ongoing partnership with the NOW Group!

But what’s a JAM Card?

The JAM Card is a discreet means for individuals with learning difficulties, autism, or any other communication barrier to communicate their need for 'Just A Minute' discreetly and easily while out and about. Our newly opened store in Leeds joins our 16 stores on the island of Ireland in being fully JAM Card certified, with each of our new team members being trained on the initiative, furthering our commitment to being inclusive and accessible for all!

Our partnership with the NOW Group

We are proud to partner with the NOW Group in this fantastic initiative, one that will make ordering and eating out easier and more comfortable for everyone. The NOW Group are a multi-award-winning social enterprise dedicated to supporting individuals with learning difficulties, autism and communication barriers that are often invisible.

“We are thrilled to welcome Boojum Leeds as our inaugural hospitality partner in Great Britain. The achievement of the JAM Card accreditation demonstrates Boojum’s ongoing commitment to its customers and its priority to advance equality, diversity and inclusion across all of its eateries.”
