From humble beginnings to exciting expansion, our story is one of passion, vision and an addiction to damn good Mexican food. Boojum is much more than just our iconic tight burrito rolls and phat bowls.
EST. 2007
Back in ‘07, Boojum hit the food scene in Ireland as one of the most exciting and disruptive concepts to hit the high street in a long time.
What started as a tiny outlet in Botanic Avenue, Belfast, has grown to become Ireland’s most loved Mexican-inspired burrito chain with 14 restaurants across the island and a vision for many more to come.
At the helm of all of this is our burrito boss, David Maxwell who fell in love with Mexican food and culture while running an Irish pub in Arizona. Armed with a ton of ambition and vision, David set out to transform Boojum into the thriving brand it is today with ‘outside the box’ approaches and whole lotta innovation.
When you come to Boojum, it isn’t just about getting a delicious meal, it’s so much more. We want you to live the experience. Our casual, vibrant restaurants are designed to amplify our Live Out Loud personality. It’s good vibes only at all times.
